Agreeing on a song

         I mentioned before how we were having trouble choosing the song to do. Just up until a few minutes ago we were changing the song to the tequila song however Violet finally agreed. I was getting a little annoyed because i had a greed to tequila since i didn't think it was something to fight over so i wrote this blog about it. then i told them and they were asking what part we were going to include because they didn't want a certain part in and we decided there was no need to change it because the song we have now is fun and up beat. Then we found the song on youtube and imovie has this feature that can record while playing the video. We held the phone that had the clips edited up to the computer that had the song and thats how we included the song  There wasn't much left to edit since it was mostly done the first day. Today we fixed some cuts and made it a little less choppy. Another thing we did was speed of the videos. since all our filmed videos together were a little longer than 30 seconds, we had to speed up the individual videos. I like the effect it gives to it though. Although i don't necessarily like the sing choice, im very proud of my group and what we were able to create.

  “Time For Dinner” the short film portrays imagination through a young child's eyes. Toys may just look like plastic things with no life to them to us now, but we did not always think that way. Adults once too would sit for hours at a time playing with those ‘plastic things’.  1. how does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?     In todays society, you don't see much love or kindness being spread. Sometimes all someone wants or needs to hear is a compliment or something nice and it can save their life. The idea behind our commercial was to "spread joy." If you notice in one clip there is a kid sitting looking sad on a bench and he is given a note that cheers him up. There isn't one specific social group being represented its more of a society as a whole and how important it is to spread kindness. A big issue world wide is selfishness and depression and we thought our commercial could spread some light on that. 2.   There are many things that make a genre clear to what it is. For example, the genre Thriller has usually always has these factors to it.     camera angles:     -High angle/ Birds view: This is used in thriller to give the effect that whatever is being looked down upon looks vulnerable or powerless compared to what is behind the camera.     -close ups: This angle allows the camera to give a clear view of the characters emotions to the event happening .     -Tilted angle: This adds tension to the scene at hand and sometimes signifying a supernatural occurrence.
