 1. how does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?     In todays society, you don't see much love or kindness being spread. Sometimes all someone wants or needs to hear is a compliment or something nice and it can save their life. The idea behind our commercial was to "spread joy." If you notice in one clip there is a kid sitting looking sad on a bench and he is given a note that cheers him up. There isn't one specific social group being represented its more of a society as a whole and how important it is to spread kindness. A big issue world wide is selfishness and depression and we thought our commercial could spread some light on that. 2. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?     Everyone uses sticky notes for many things like school, work, reminders, kind notes, etc. We chose to show just one way to use them but it isn't limited to just that.       If I am one thing it is proud. my group did an amazing job putting together a feel good commercial. In my introducing me blog I mentioned how I was very into filming in cinematography so being able to film this was really fun. a few years ago I would've wanted to be an actor in this commercial however now I am so happy and grateful I got to film. doing this wasn't the easiest but since it was so fun it felt like a smooth ride. Out of all the commercials I saw I definitely think our is very high on the charts. I love my teammates and will be working with them again.

           I mentioned before how we were having trouble choosing the song to do. Just up until a few minutes ago we were changing the song to the tequila song however Violet finally agreed. I was getting a little annoyed because i had a greed to tequila since i didn't think it was something to fight over so i wrote this blog about it. then i told them and they were asking what part we were going to include because they didn't want a certain part in and we decided there was no need to change it because the song we have now is fun and up beat. Then we found the song on youtube and imovie has this feature that can record while playing the video. We held the phone that had the clips edited up to the computer that had the song and thats how we included the song  There wasn't much left to edit since it was mostly done the first day. Today we fixed some cuts and made it a little less choppy. Another thing we did was speed of the videos. since all our filmed videos together were a

 Today  was editing day. I said before in the other blog that mila wasn't able to come to second day of filming and that was when we filmed the majority of it. Not wanting her to feel left out, she took the editing job. It was pretty simple since the videos ended and started with something that was able to cut smoothly without it looking choppy. Mila used imovie to edit the videos. We had some conflict on what we were going to use as the sound. It was split even between Nicole and Violet and me and Mila. we ended up going with the one mila and i wanted to use since mila is the one editing. I really really like the finished product. The item we used was simple enough to make a cute commercial from and i think we did a great job.

 When we finished the first day of production we saw that the video didn't have any tilt or pan dynamic to the filming part. This ended up being good for us though because we refilled the commercial and now it is 10 times better than what we originally had. I noticed that adding things like tilting the camera and kind of circling the characters made an easier transition and made the entirety of the commercial flow smoother. Sadly, mila wasn't at school but we didn't have her down as an actress anyways. I filmed the video while Violet and Nicole did a great job at acting. I was going to be the mom in the first clip but I enjoyed filming much better. We had some difficulties choosing and agreeing on a song to go over the video because it was tied but we decided to go with a fun one. I couldn't remember the name of the song so I had to go on youtube and look for that. Overall I found out that I really do enjoying filming and directing. Being behind the camera appeals to me
