  Location  Because our scenes take place in different settings, we have two main filming locations. Our first one will be Dara's house. We will film the first and last few scenes in this setting, varying between different rooms and areas of her home. The second location will be a downtown area of the city we live in. This will be for the scenes that take place in around the middle of our script. Where our two main characters meet up. This location is flexible and will allow us to achieve multiple angles and shots. Participants The only participants of this production will consist of our current group members. Dara Sedaka, Parker Merrick, Violet Roberts and Siena Pancera. We will all take part in different jobs to get it all done. The movie title we have picked is "Unfriended" The title will be in a bold, spooky looking font and will appear on the screen for 3-4 seconds and it will fade out. This title will take up most of the width on the screen, to ensure that the audience will see it. The color we chose was black because it stands out the most. The other titles will be in a different font from the film title, to make the film title stand out more. The other titles will be a normal everyday like font. They will also be black and will appear on screen for 2-3 seconds depending on the title. Every title, not including the film title, will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. It will only take up a small portion of the screen, so that it won't distract the audience from the scene, but it will also be big enough to be read.      I found the 'Art of the Title' website by searching for movie title sequences and stumbled upon this great website. When you open the link, the first thing you see is "2021 Emmy Nominations for Main Title Design". The writer acknowledges Studio King and Country for winning the Outstanding Main Title Design Emmy award. There is also a button that you can click that says "Title  Sequences" it shows you three articles about "Main Title Design awards", "Title Design Finalists" and an article about a film called "Rock Hunter". The movie  Us  (2019)   is a thriller/horror movie. This means it has conventions common for both of those genres. However, I will be focusing on the thriller genre.  Camera Angles, Movement, and shots: There were lots of long shots in this movie. They were used to set the scene and to create tension by showing the character and the setting. There were also close ups to show the terrified looks on the actors faces. This created a thrill for the audience. Two shots were also common, usually between the protagonist and antagonist fighting.  Costumes: The "bad guys" wore distinct red suits to separate themselves from the other characters. However, I will be focusing on the thriller genre.  Camera Angles, Movement, and shots: This movie made use of many dutch angles, tilting the camera for a purpose. It added a lot of tension to the movie, as well as creating suspense. This movie also used many over the shoulder shots. This type of shot was used to show reflections. It was also used to sort of differentiate between "good" and "bad" characters, by having both in the same shot, but from different angles.  Costumes: This movie was a bit of a spy movie, so the costumes were not exactly identical to ones we would use in our scene.   We have researched three main types of genres for this movie. Before our research, we had already had an idea of which genre we would choose. We had sort of picked out drama as an ideal genre. However, after extensive research, we as a group have changed our minds. Instead of choosing the drama genre, we think our two minute scene would be better suited in the thriller genre. While there were drawbacks to this genre, such as it usually involving gore, we decided that we can find a way around that. And although the stereotypes generally portrayed in this genre for women are not positive, we are the directors and are in charge. We can change the story line to make those stereotypes non-existent. Camera angles: Close up: Drama films often have close ups to show the expressions of the actors.  The close up makes it clear on how the actor is feeling through their expressions. It can make the scene more dramatic and express the intensity of the scene. Long shot: Long shots can set the scene for the viewer.   Pitch 1: A girl keeps making new friends, little do they know she holds a big secret.  Pitch 2: A man moves to a small town, and starts a new job at the local police station. Pitch 1 is a practical choice for our group. We have access to the said friends that would be needed to film. Also there is more wiggle room for the first pitch because the secret isn't revealed yet. There are many pros to this pitch but there are a few cons. The pitch can appear to be generic at first glance. We would not want to have a movie that follows a very basic storyline. But we can trust with our group that this movie would not follow the typical movie conventions.  Pitch 2 is also a reasonable choice for our group. One of our group members lives in a small town, so the setting is ideal.
