Finding props

 Our movie includes a few props that we don't have. The first few scenes are the title sequences however it still shows important things. For example, there is supposed to be blood on the floor, on her shirt, and on the knife. This scenes is supposed to show that the main character just committed murder. This is in order to create the plot for the rest of the movie. None of my team members had fake blood. Because of this dilemma, we had to go look around. First we went to target but they didn't have. Before we left target i realized since the blood will be on the actors clothes we should probably buy some cheap ones. we saw a plain shirt and some pants and bought them. After we left target we decided to try a costume store. It was hard finding one since they usually don't reopen until halloween. After looking for a while we found one not too far. I didn't know how much we would need so just in case we figured it would be smarter to get two bottles. We were all tired form driving around for a while and dint want to film. Instead of letting the day go to waste, we planned. after speaking we realized we couldn't film the title sequence at my house. It would be in the same setting if we did. Parker suggested her house. The thing about the blood is that we don't know of it will stain the floor or towels so we tried out a little on each. It ended up not staining so we had nothing to worry about.

  “Time For Dinner” the short film portrays imagination through a young child's eyes. Toys may just look like plastic things with no life to them to us now, but we did not always think that way. Adults once too would sit for hours at a time playing with those ‘plastic things’.  1. how does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?     In todays society, you don't see much love or kindness being spread. Sometimes all someone wants or needs to hear is a compliment or something nice and it can save their life. The idea behind our commercial was to "spread joy." If you notice in one clip there is a kid sitting looking sad on a bench and he is given a note that cheers him up. There isn't one specific social group being represented its more of a society as a whole and how important it is to spread kindness. A big issue world wide is selfishness and depression and we thought our commercial could spread some light on that. 2.   There are many things that make a genre clear to what it is. For example, the genre Thriller has usually always has these factors to it.     camera angles:     -High angle/ Birds view: This is used in thriller to give the effect that whatever is being looked down upon looks vulnerable or powerless compared to what is behind the camera.     -close ups: This angle allows the camera to give a clear view of the characters emotions to the event happening .     -Tilted angle: This adds tension to the scene at hand and sometimes signifying a supernatural occurrence.
