Intro to me!!!

 Hello!

    My name is Dara Sedaka, I live in two house holds. One is with my dad, step mom, and occasionally my sister will come back from college, and border terrier dog named cooper. The other is with my mom, step dad, same sister, and two dogs named bear and little bear and two cats named slider and snowy. First I want to say i'm not quite sure what I want to be or study in college. ever since I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian and since this summer i think im circling back to it. When i signed up for AS level it was because i was really into direction and perhaps wanted to be it when i was older. its still in the back of my mind thats why i chose to continue to A level. some of my interests include painting, drawing, soccer and hanging out with family and friends. I got into drawing in 5th grade when I would just watch youtube videos of this guy who would teach you how to make anime characters. somewhere along the line I figured out I was really good at painting. My grandpa who I am very close with is an artist. this makes me love painting even more because I feel a much deeper connection to it. During COVID I got an art teacher who I admired a lot. she was from California and I only had her for a few months before she had to go back. she taught me a lot while she was here and i'm so grateful for that. I didn't really know much about painting and her specialty was oil paints so she taught me how to mix, brush, and other things which I still use today. something else to know about me is that I did a foreign exchange program during the summer in France which was a lot of fun. I made a friend who i still talk to and hopefully she can come to America. The summer going into this year, I went to Ecuador a lone to volunteer at an animal rescue center with animals like monkeys, birds, foxes, otters, and so many more. It was the most amazing experience of my life and i wish i could go back. That is why i think i'm circling back to wanting to be a veterinarian, at least one that works with wild animals.

  “Time For Dinner” the short film portrays imagination through a young child's eyes. Toys may just look like plastic things with no life to them to us now, but we did not always think that way. Adults once too would sit for hours at a time playing with those ‘plastic things’. Somehow, our brain was able to create a whole new world with characters we created, and sometimes we would forget the real world for a second. It seems as though no one truly recognizes or appreciates imagination, and that is exactly what I wanted to show with this short film.  My movie represents children's imagination and how things children see in everyday life can affect their mind. Society has become a scary world to live in and sometimes it is hard to shield the young generation from it.   CAMS:  There is no music video for our song choice, Are we still friends by Tyler The Creator, so we looked at his othe songs to do our research. We noticed a lot of usage of tracking shots. A character would be seen traveling from place to place. Also, the camera would pan across the landscape to show establishing shots a lot. There are also a lot of close ups and POV shots.  CLAMPS: The costumes are regular attire for the most part, nothing exactly special. Lighting depends on the scene, but a lot of his videos have an outside setting . As far as acting, we can see real emotion in all of the actors' facial expressions. The music is obviously the song in the background. Props used a lot were phones, food, and cars. The setting was generally outside, with a lot of nature, or inside with low depressing lighting because most of his songs are on the sad side.  SOUND: The sound is the song in the background, there are a decent amount of beat drops in Tyler The Creator'...

Group Introduction

      For my group project some may say I got lucky. I get to work with my three other friends. This may not seem like the best idea but i know they are smart hardworking individuals. I will start with myself and my task in this project. I said in my intro that I have some talent in the artistry department so that will be my job. For the story board it is important that is is easy to understand with well drawn pictures.      S econd we have Mila, I met mila last year and which is surprising because of everything with COVID. she has a very intelligent mind and a good creative eye. this means she is our editor.
