Filming day 1

 Today was filming day. We were originally going to film yesterday however mila nor violet would be able to go and violet was one of the characters. After school today, Violet drove mila and i to target then to addies house. We went to target to buy the cake for a scene. We got to addies house at around 4:00 pm. When we got to her house she was already in costume. She needed to finish her make up. Like i said in the last blog, Addie has the perfect clothes o represent dolls. Addie was dressed in all pink and had an outfit for violet when we got there. Violet changed into her all blue, doll looking costume. Once Addie finished her own make up she did violets. Since they are dolls, they needed to have a lot of blush and eye shadow. Personally i think the looks were perfect. Once they were both in costume, we began to film. I filmed half and mila filmed the other half. Using the story board really helped. Mila, violet and i needed o go to our Cambridge diploma award t six. Because of this dilemma we were only able to film 3/4 of it. We got so much done though! The acting was perfect and there were barely any mess ups. Since we had to leave at around 5:45pm, we had to stop. We stopped at the movie scene. Tomorrow we will finish filming an then edit. I am so proud of my group and ho well our idea is working!

  “Time For Dinner” the short film portrays imagination through a young child's eyes. Toys may just look like plastic things with no life to them to us now, but we did not always think that way. Adults once too would sit for hours at a time playing with those ‘plastic things’. Somehow, our brain was able to create a whole new world with characters we created, and sometimes we would forget the real world for a second. It seems as though no one truly recognizes or appreciates imagination, and that is exactly what I wanted to show with this short film.  My movie represents children's imagination and how things children see in everyday life can affect their mind.   CAMS:  There is no music video for our song choice, Are we still friends by Tyler The Creator, so we looked at his othe songs to do our research. We noticed a lot of usage of tracking shots. A character would be seen traveling from place to place. Also, the camera would pan across the landscape to show establishing shots a lot. There are also a lot of close ups and POV shots.  CLAMPS: The costumes are regular attire for the most part, nothing exactly special. Lighting depends on the scene, but a lot of his videos have an outside setting . As far as acting, we can see real emotion in all of the actors' facial expressions. The music is obviously the song in the background. Props used a lot were phones, food, and cars. The setting was generally outside, with a lot of nature, or inside with low depressing lighting because most of his songs are on the sad side.  SOUND: The sound is the song in the background, there are a decent amount of beat drops in Tyler The Creator'...

Group Introduction

      For my group project some may say I got lucky. I get to work with my three other friends. This may not seem like the best idea but i know they are smart hardworking individuals. I will start with myself and my task in this project. I said in my intro that I have some talent in the artistry department so that will be my job. For the story board it is important that is is easy to understand with well drawn pictures.      S econd we have Mila, I met mila last year and which is surprising because of everything with COVID. she has a very intelligent mind and a good creative eye. this means she is our editor.
